In 1967, George Harrison rented a house at 1567 Blue Jay Way. One foggy night, he was waiting for friends who had gotten lost on the winding hillside roads. While waiting, Harrison wrote a song on an organ his landlord had left in the house. "Blue Jay Way" made it onto The Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour album with the now-famous lyrics: "There's a fog upon L.A., and my friends have lost their way."
